A late-night session where quietude shaped the topography of every note. Our role was to hold space — letting breath, phrasing, and silence take center stage. The result is a vocal that feels whispered directly into the listener’s chest.
RECORDING ENGINEER
We captured LIAH in one take. One mic, one dim light. She sang as if journaling, and we didn’t touch that honesty.
MIXING ENGINEER
The reverb was set to exhale. Tiny room reflections were preserved to keep it intimate. No compression gymnastics — just natural curves that move with her dynamics.
VOCAL EDITING
We kept the edits invisible. No over-quantizing, no pitch sterilization. Just enough tuning to support her natural tone, and breaths were kept intact to preserve the emotional rhythm.
VOCAL DIRECTION
