SloKeyy

With laid-back confidence and surgical flow, SloKeyy turns simplicity into sharpness. No hooks. No filler. Just straight-up domination over a cold beat.

WHAT WE DID

WHAT WE DID

WHAT WE DID

Tatted Memories was built on energy. The track came together quickly, but precision never took a backseat. With SloKeyy's unique cadence and tone, we engineered a setup that captured every bar with clarity and punch.

RECORDING ENGINEER

We chose a modern, high-sensitivity condenser to capture the sharp consonants and quick flow SloKeyy is known for. Slight proximity gain gave the vocals a sense of controlled aggression without muddying the delivery.

MIXING ENGINEER

We kept the mix dry and forward, letting his voice cut through the beat with presence. Tight compression, no reverb clutter. The kick and bass were tucked slightly behind the vocal to avoid stepping on the rhythm of the flow.

VOCAL EDITING

Edits were surgical — no heavy tuning, just timing and breath control. We tightened up the ends of lines for that drill snap, preserving the bounce and syncopation in every bar.

VOCAL DIRECTION

Direction was minimal — more about pacing and energy control. Letting him breathe between bar flips, guiding where to lean in or fall back. We followed his instinct, just gave it a cleaner runway.

SESSION MANAGEMENT

The session moved fast. Keyy came in ready, no second-guessing. Our team kept the energy tight — minimal takes, immediate playback, fast adjustments. The goal was to match the pace of the freestyle, not slow it down.
