Tekk Dramma
In just seven minutes, Tekk's turns precision into pressure. This is lyrical warfare disguised as casual reflection — confident, calculated, and cold-blooded.
Working with Tekk Dramma on My Rearview meant giving space to a master at work. My role wasn’t to push — it was to step back and let it unfold. From first take to final mix, we kept the process lean, focused, and intentional.
RECORDING ENGINEER
Using a vintage tube mic setup, we focused on presence and tonal honesty. Tekk's delivery needed zero embellishment — every word carried weight. The vocal chain emphasized natural dynamics, letting each pause land like punctuation.
MIXING ENGINEER
The mix was designed to feel intimate yet direct. We avoided over-processing and kept the vocals slightly forward, letting the beat sit in the pocket. Subtle saturation gave the low-end warmth without losing edge.
VOCAL EDITING
Tekk's performance was clean, but we fine-tuned phrasing for maximum impact. No auto-tune, no smoothing — just light touches to preserve the intensity and intelligence in his cadence.
VOCAL DIRECTION
Direction here was more about energy management than delivery tweaks. We encouraged him to lean into the quieter confidence — like a veteran who knows he doesn’t need to raise his voice to command the room.
